I Started a Podcast!

It’s called The American Dream in The Eyes of Immigrants. In this podcast, I sit down and talk with immigrants about their journey coming to the United States. We discuss their first memory of the US, their expectations vs. their reality of the US, the culture shocks they experienced, and how they adapted to living in a new country.

But I saw an article here on Medium about an immigrant whose confidence was diminished little by little because of the culture shocks they experienced when they first moved to the United States. After reading that story, I asked my husband what his first memory of the US was since he came at the young age of 9, and it was so interesting to me. A lightbulb went off; this would be great content for a podcast.
These stories are important to tell, they are important to listen to, and they are…
